About This Course

Each section contains information regarding a specific aspect of speaking. Worksheets, exercises and drills are targeted at students developing their speaking skills as they progress through the levels of this course.

Section 16 contains an analysis of a typical TOEFL speaking test with examples of good and mediocre answers. Each answer is accompanied by the examiners comments.

Sections 17-20 contain example tests for you to practice your speaking skill and acclimatise yourself to the processes involved in undertake a TOEFL speaking test.

David Condie

He obtained a B.E. (hons) from Newcastle University in 1988 and worked as a scientist for the Australian governmental agency CSIRO for 13 years before making a transition to teaching. He has taught in both Korea and Thailand since then.

Luke Turnill

He graduated from The University of Greenwich with honors majoring in Marketing. He then worked in the marketing industry for two years before entering the teaching profession. He has lectured in Japan and Thailand at university level.
